We collect your TrakCare username and password solely for the purpose of authenticating with the NHLS TrakCare system. These credentials are transmitted securely and are not stored on your device or our servers.

1.2 Session Information

We maintain session cookies and tokens necessary for maintaining your authenticated session with the TrakCare system. These are stored locally on your device and expire when you log out or after a period of inactivity.

1.3 Patient Data

Patient data, including lab results, is accessed in real-time from the TrakCare system. This data is displayed in the application but is not permanently stored on your device or our servers. Some data may be temporarily cached for performance purposes and is automatically cleared.

1.4 Usage Data

We may collect anonymous usage statistics such as app features used, error logs, and performance metrics. This information does not include any patient-identifiable information.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To authenticate and maintain your session with the TrakCare system
  • To retrieve and display lab results and patient information
  • To provide app functionality including search, favorites, and trends analysis
  • To improve app performance and fix technical issues

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

  • All data transmission is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS protocols
  • Authentication credentials are never stored in plain text
  • Session tokens are securely managed and expire automatically
  • Patient data is not permanently stored on devices

  • Access to patient data requires valid TrakCare authentication

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information or patient data. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

  • With the NHLS TrakCare system as necessary to provide the service

5.2 Healthcare Data Standards

We adhere to healthcare data security standards and best practices. All patient data access is logged and audited through the TrakCare system.

LabWiZ integrates with the following third-party services:

  • NHLS TrakCare System: For authentication and lab results access
  • Firebase (if enabled): For user preferences and favorites storage

9. Children's Privacy

LabWiZ is intended for use by healthcare professionals and medical students. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
